Lucinda "sandy feet" Wierenga of South Padre Island has competed in nearly every major sand sculpture contest on the planet and has brought home more than a few trophies & medals. "Ms. Feet" has been featured in a wide variety of TV broadcasts, including Ripley's Believe It or Not; People Magazine and a full week of appearances on the Regis and Kelly show. She offers sand sculpture instruction here on SPi as well as on beaches around the world and has taught literally thousands of people of all ages how to build a better sandcastle. She has written three books on the subject and signed copies of the most recent - "Sandcastles Made Simple - are available (along with SoB sand carving tools) .
