that is the name of a play i was in two years ago and it's funny but today........there Is trouble in columbus.
there have been some murders over in palomas the border town close to here. rumor has it.......that it's columbia drug lords going after the drug cartel. the first incident was a couple of weeks ago then just yesterday or was it the day before.......another shooting only this time it was done via auto mobiles......
...........or so i hear........
two of the three people in a car were shot and the third somehow escaped unharmed but was arrested by american authorities due to the fact he had a couple of heavy duty guns on him...........
.........so i hear........
the reason the americans got involved is because one of unharmed (@the time) guys got into the drivers side and headed for the border and that is where the new driver was shot and killed......
or so i heard.....
the only guy left unharmed was in the back seat with his heavy duty guns.
this morning two more were shot and killed.
i have not heard the details on those two..........i did hear two different times of the shooting tho.
one was 4A.M and the other was 5A.M.
this afternoon i went to palomas to get one their delicious fruit cups they have over there....
..........fresh pieces of watermelon and pineapple layer the top then underneath that is cantaloupe and papaya mixed in then u get to the bottom and find mango and peaches. they put chili powder with lime and salt if u like and i liked and let me tell u it is absolutely delicious..........
they weren't there though....... actually the town looked quite deserted..........
even coming across i thought at first glance the border was closed because they were guiding cars over by all those heavy machines they use as we cross the border coming home.
It looks quite scary actually.
so i ended up going to the chicken place which has real good chicken with all the fixens and everything seemed business as usual...........
not long after coming back.......
i went to the gas station in town and they had a reporter there with her camera man. fox news..........
she approached me and asked me if she could interview me. i told her i didn't know anything about what was happening but that wasn't what she wanted to interview me about anyway.
she said she wanted to interview a sitazen of the area.....OH well that i am so i said ok.
when she learned i had gone over to palomas for dinner she was shocked. she thought i would have been to fear full to do anything like that after all these killings but i told her no......it isn't like the terroristic attacks where they want people and any person will do. it is drug lords killing drug lords......i'm not a drug dealer so i am not worried. she asked me if i was frightened they would come here with their drug war.......lol we have so many people with badges in this town.....we have border patrol and state police and county sheriffs and really village police which is quite numerous actual and we even have an animal control who will send letters out harassing old women dying of cancer if her dog pees on some ones fruit tree.......but most of all.......i have a dog And i have access to my inner senses.......too bad i didn't tell her that last part but she wasn't all that interest in my lack of fear. she was looking for fear.
then i went into the local restaurant for jam night which happens just after spaghetti night........all the customers were talking about the shootings and every one had fear in their voices......THat makes me a bit nervous.
