She went to the door with suitcase in hand expecting to go on a trip she had long looked forward to. Instead she was greeted by her youngest son who was in such grief he couldn't even speak. He had his phone in his hand and he handed it to her instead. Her heart dropped because she knew her worst fear had come true. The death of her first born child. He had been murdered the night before and now it was time to say good bye. Good bye the most difficult words to say. But luck was with her that day just as it had always been throughout her life. Her bags were already packed and her business was covered as she had planned on attending a wine and cheese festival which was a smaller version of the Folk Festival which brought musicians from all over the world. She had so looked forward to this trip but instead she would be driving to Virginia with her youngest child to retrieve her first born sons body and bring him home to rest. Something he had very little of in his short life, especially the last few years.

You see the state of Virginia had stolen his child and given him to another family to raise. He was a wild child had married a women who was a wild child herself and it was a very rocky relationship. Both he and his wife had issues with anger, something quite common with star children I hear. He had met Angel on the beach one day surfing a contest he had been invited to in Virginia beach. Michael had many invitations to surf as he loved to ride the waves of the ocean just like he loved to ride the waves of life. He was good at it too. He had so many trophies it was hard to find a place to put them with so little space to live in.

Michael was conceived in love yet his father and I divorced when he was just three years old. I look back on those days and i wonder what life could have been like for him had i only..........how many times do we as people say that when we take a stroll down memory lane?

Michael loved his son more then life itself and when Angel walked out of his life taking their son with him it broke his heart.......one day Michael gets a call from Angel telling him the state of Virginia had taken their son and she couldn't seem to get him back. They had been driving home from blockbuster and Cameron opened the video box and threw the tape out the car window without Angels knowledge. When they arrived to their destination and found the empty video case she asked Cameron......"where's the tape" "i put it out the window" he said and Angels temper flared. She shouted "YOU DID WHAT! "WHY, LORD WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?" that'll cost me $25 mister as she bonked him over the head with the empty cassette box as a man watched from the sidewalk by her car. Well that was an action she will forever regret as the man called child protective services and they came along and snatched this young child out of the arms of his mother and started him on a road of foster homes and military youth camps to be used and abused by the very system "we the people" pay to protect our children and he has not been returned to his family since. If you ask me it was this very system that murdered my son while abusing my grandson and laughing in our faces as they took the steps to disassociate this child from his loved ones. Today he sits in a military style boys camp because he has issue with anger. He has been fed drugs galour yet his mother was found unfit because she had marijuana in her system when they gave her a drug test. Michael did everything humanly possible to get his son home with him the moment he was notified and he came very close but at the last minute the taffy program decided it was not a good idea. My youngest son and his wife along with myself applied for guardianship and came very close also. We went through many visits with the child protective program in texas and were highly recommended as suitable adults to care for this child. Camerons case worker lora-lie Jones from the taffy program in Virginia doesn't like criticism it seems. You see just two days before our court date i received a copy of what has been happening to my grandson and i was livid. I read he had been put into a straight jacket and was being fed several types of drugs so i made some phone calls. I was so upset when i made these calls my entire insides were shaking terribly. I wanted to know how dare they do this to a child especially a child whom has been ripped from his family and suffered from a broken heart. Lora-lie went into the court room that day and when the judge held up the file with our high recommendation from texas and asked......who are these people??? Lora-lie said.......oh, that is an uncle and a grandmother whom has had no contact with Cameron and I do not recommend them. He put the file down and didn't even take a peek at what was inside. When she spoke to me she said........he is no longer your grandson and my temper flared again as I said your words mean nothing to me. He IS my grandson and there is no thing you can do about that. He has my blood.
